1、软管的更换与调整
（1）更换软管时，先将两端管卡螺栓松掉，并将管卡拆下，再将其中一端的吊圈螺栓松掉，将一端短管从胶管中抽出，点动电机将胶管自泵内推出；然后将新的软管从拆下短管的一端插入泵壳与压辊之间，点动电机，将软管装入；再将吊圈固定、管卡装上，至此更换任务完成。尤其注意再安装软管时，务必将软管与泵壳贴紧，确认后方能投入正常运行。
（2）软管使用200小时左右，可将软管转动90度，对单管软管泵除转动方向外，还可前后抽动软管，以改变软管的压点，延长软管的使用寿命。
还有一种食品级橡胶软管泵，它的内衬的橡胶层需要达到了食品卫生的要求，同时也需要符合EHEDG或者其他卫生级的要求。还有三元乙丙橡胶软管泵，这种一般适用于绝大多数腐蚀性的化学物质和无机物，内衬橡胶层由三元乙丙橡胶构成，外层也是完整的三元乙丙橡胶。这样的软管具备很强的抗化学腐蚀的特性。以及CSM软管泵，它适用于特别腐蚀性的化学介质，如：强氧化溶剂。软管的内层是CSM，外层是天然橡胶。运行温度达到85℃/185°F。
